Snoring

Snoring often occurs when the airway becomes partially obstructed during sleep, which can be caused by improper tongue positioning, soft tissue in the throat, or even the collapse of the soft palate. The vibrations of these tissues while breathing result in the sound of snoring. Tongue-tie or poor tongue posture can exacerbate the problem.

How We Can Help: Our therapy works to strengthen the muscles in the throat and tongue, while also improving their alignment, to prevent airway obstruction and reduce snoring. In many cases, this also helps to alleviate the risk of sleep apnea.

Benefits:

  • Reduces snoring and enhances sleep quality.
  • Strengthens muscles in the throat and tongue, improving breathing.
  • Supports natural breathing patterns during sleep and can significantly increase the effectiveness of CPAP therapy when in use.
